    About this product

Blue Sea Systems Mini PowerPost, 1/4in-20 stud, 48V DC max, sold without insulator cap. Manufacturer PN 2014.

This listing covers the Blue Sea Systems Mini PowerPost, 1/4in-20 stud, in the no-cap configuration — the same compact single-stud connector as PN 2011, but without the insulator boot included in the box. It fits the same tight-space applications where a full-size PowerPost's footprint won't work. Because Blue Sea's current site does not list this exact no-cap configuration separately, treat the specifications below as inherited from the equivalent capped version.

    Key features

    • 48V DC maximum, 1/4in-20 x 3/4in stud
    • Connects high-amperage cables securely with stacked ring terminals
    • Reinforced thermoplastic base, compact Mini PowerPost footprint
    • Insulator cap sold separately for this configuration

Mini PowerPosts suit the same jobs as the full-size PowerPost — extending an outboard harness, adding a junction point for an aftermarket accessory, or stacking a couple of ring terminals where space is tightest — just in a smaller body sized for lighter-gauge conductors. This no-cap version is typically used where a matching cap is already on hand from a prior installation, where a replacement cap was ordered separately, or where a different insulating solution is planned for the finished connection.

Torque the stud to 70 in-lb. Because this version doesn't include an insulator, source a compatible cap separately and install it once wiring is complete to prevent accidental contact with the live stud. If a version with the cap included is preferred, PN 2011 is the same connector with the insulator in the box, and is worth comparing on price before choosing the no-cap option. Either version accepts the same ring terminal sizes and mounts the same way.
