    About this product

Blue Sea Systems PowerBar 600A BusBar, eight 3/8in stud terminals, 545A AC / 600A DC, 300V AC / 48V DC max. Manufacturer PN 2107.

The Blue Sea Systems PowerBar 600A BusBar - Eight 3/8in-16 Studs extends the PowerBar family to eight heavy-cable connection points, for boats with enough high-current circuits that even the 4-stud version wouldn't have room for everything. It carries the same 600A DC continuous rating as the smaller PowerBar, just with double the terminal count.

    Key features

    • 545A AC / 600A DC continuous rating, 300V AC / 48V DC maximum
    • Eight 3/8in-16 stud terminals
    • UL 94-V0 rated glass-reinforced thermoplastic base
    • Tin-plated copper CDA 110 bus material

This bar suits a large DC distribution point — a big house bank's main ground bus tying together an inverter, multiple charge sources, a windlass, a bow thruster, and several other heavy circuits, all on ring terminals without running out of stud positions. It's a common choice on larger cruising boats or commercial vessels with a correspondingly larger DC electrical system, where the 4-stud PowerBar simply doesn't have enough positions for every heavy circuit.

Torque all eight stud terminals to 140 in-lb. Because this bar concentrates a large number of heavy cables in one place, plan its mounting location with real cable-management room, and inspect every stud connection at haul-out — a loose connection on a bar carrying this much aggregate current is a genuine fire-risk item if left unchecked. Keep a torque wrench rated for this range on hand specifically for busbar and battery work, since hand-tightening alone is not reliable at these torque values. Consider the smaller 4-stud PowerBar (PN 2104) instead if your system has fewer than eight heavy circuits to consolidate.
