About this product
Blue Sea Systems Common 100A Mini BusBar, 5 screw terminals + 2 stud terminals, 100A, 300V AC / 48V DC max. Manufacturer PN 2304.
The Blue Sea Systems Common 100A Mini BusBar - 5 Gang adds screw terminals to the compact MiniBus footprint, giving five #8-32 screw terminals plus two #10-32 stud terminals for mixed wire-gauge consolidation in a small space. It shares the same 100A rating as the 4-stud version but trades two studs for five screw terminals, giving room for more individual branch circuits.
Key features
- 100A continuous rating, 300V AC / 48V DC maximum
- 5 #8-32 screw terminals and 2 #10-32 stud terminals
- Compact size for limited-space applications
- UL 94-V0 rated glass-reinforced thermoplastic base
This configuration suits a small accessory circuit bank behind a console or panel, where a few light-gauge branch wires need to land on screw terminals while one or two heavier supply or ground cables use the stud terminals — all in a footprint that fits where a full-size busbar wouldn't. It's a natural pick for consolidating instrument lighting, bilge alarms, or similar low-draw circuits into one tidy termination point.
Torque the screw terminals to 15 in-lb and the stud terminals to 18 in-lb. An optional cover (PN 2713, shared with PN 2305) is available if the installation needs insulated terminals for ABYC/USCG compliance. Keep the mounting location dry and away from bilge spray, since the compact base has limited clearance around each terminal. If the circuit count grows, compare against the MaxiBus family for a higher-amperage option in a similarly compact stud-and-screw layout, or step up to the 10-gang Common BusBar if the available mounting space allows for it.
