    About this product

    Blue Sea Systems Common 150A BusBar, 10 screw terminals + 2 stud terminals, 130A AC / 150A DC, 300V AC / 48V DC max. Manufacturer PN 2301.

The Blue Sea Systems Common 150A BusBar is the industry-standard way to consolidate multiple wires onto one positive distribution point or one negative/ground collection point. This 10-gang version gives 10 screw terminals plus 2 stud terminals on a single bar.

    Key features

    • 130A AC / 150A DC continuous rating, 300V AC / 48V DC maximum
    • 10 #8-32 screw terminals and 2 1/4in stud terminals
    • Insert-molded stainless steel studs eliminate the need for a securing nut
    • UL 94-V0 rated glass-reinforced thermoplastic base

Use one bar for all the boat's negative returns and a second identical bar for positive distribution, feeding each from a fused or switched main source. The stud terminals accept heavier supply cable while the screw terminals handle individual branch circuit wires, so one bar can collect a dozen light-gauge grounds off a single heavy incoming cable.

Torque the screw terminals to 15 in-lb and the stud terminals to 60 in-lb. An optional cover (PN 2715) is available if the installation needs insulated terminals to satisfy ABYC/USCG requirements — this base bar ships without one.

Mount the bar on a flat, dry surface away from bilge water and engine heat, and route incoming cable so it doesn't stress the stud connection when the boat is underway. Because this busbar has no cover, keep it in a location that's out of the way of routine hands-on maintenance to avoid accidental contact with the live terminals, or budget for the optional cover if the mounting spot sees regular hands-on work nearby.
