    About this product

Blue Sea Systems Common 150A BusBar, four 1/4in stud terminals only, 130A AC / 150A DC, 300V AC / 48V DC max. Manufacturer PN 2303.

The Blue Sea Systems Common 150A BusBar - Four 1/4in-20 Studs skips the screw terminals entirely in favor of four stud terminals, for installations where every connection uses a ring terminal rather than a mix of ring and bare-wire screw connections. It carries the same 130A AC / 150A DC continuous rating as the rest of the Common BusBar family, just in an all-stud configuration.

    Key features

    • 130A AC / 150A DC continuous rating, 300V AC / 48V DC maximum
    • Four 1/4in stud terminals, no screw terminals
    • Insert-molded stainless steel studs eliminate the need for a securing nut
    • UL 94-V0 rated glass-reinforced thermoplastic base

This configuration suits a smaller, all-ring-terminal ground or positive bus — for example, consolidating four heavy circuit returns at a switch panel or engine compartment junction, where screw terminals aren't needed because every wire already carries a crimped ring lug. It's a common match for boats standardizing on ring terminals throughout the DC system rather than mixing connection types across different busbars, since it keeps every crimp on the same bar to the same style.

Torque all four stud terminals to 60 in-lb. An optional cover (PN 2715, shared with PN 2301) is available if the installation needs insulated terminals to satisfy ABYC/USCG requirements, and is worth adding in any location exposed to routine hands-on maintenance nearby. Keep the stud connections free of corrosion at haul-out inspections, since a positive or ground bus carrying this much current depends on a clean, tight connection at every stud.
