    About this product

Veratron LinkUp Resistive Sensor to NMEA 2000 Gateway is a single-sensor converter for bringing conventional resistive senders into an NMEA 2000 system. It is intended for refits where keeping a proven analog sender is preferable to replacing the entire sensing system.

    Key features

    • Supports resistive senders for fluid level, temperature, pressure, trim and rudder applications
    • Configurable sensor curves including custom characteristics
    • NMEA 2000 output for compatible displays
    • Contactless smartphone configuration
    • Sensor instance and alarm threshold setup in app
    • Powered directly from NMEA 2000 backbone
    • Sealed, ISO 8846 engine-compartment-compatible construction

    Integration and functionality

The gateway applies the selected sensor calibration and publishes the resulting value on NMEA 2000. Supported pre-defined curves simplify common Veratron/VDO sender applications, while custom curves extend compatibility to many existing senders.

    Installation

The LinkUp has an NMEA 2000 pigtail and a sensor-side lead. Place it near the sender where practical, keep the connection sealed and configure the sensor type, instance and alarms before commissioning.

    Electrical and environmental

No separate power feed is normally required because the gateway is powered from the NMEA 2000 backbone. The resin-filled housing is suitable for engine-compartment installation.
