    About this product

Veratron LinkUp Pyrometer NMEA 2000 Gateway Kit converts high-temperature exhaust-gas measurements from the supplied Veratron thermocouple into NMEA 2000 data. It is intended for engine monitoring where EGT is valuable for detecting thermal overload and understanding engine loading.

    Key features

    • Measures exhaust-gas temperature through supplied thermocouple
    • Publishes EGT on NMEA 2000 for compatible displays
    • Approximate measurement range 100–900 °C
    • Includes 6 m high-temperature extension cable
    • Contactless smartphone configuration through LinkUp app
    • NMEA 2000-powered gateway with sealed engine-room-rated housing
    • IPX9/K gateway protection

    Integration and functionality

The thermocouple measures exhaust temperature and the LinkUp module translates the signal into the NMEA 2000 temperature PGN so compatible displays can show EGT. Sensor instance and alarm threshold are configured by smartphone.

    Installation

Install the pyrometer probe at the manufacturer-recommended exhaust location and route the supplied 6 m high-temperature extension away from moving parts and heat sources beyond its rating. Connect the gateway to the NMEA 2000 backbone using its Micro-C lead.

    Electrical and environmental

The LinkUp is powered from the NMEA 2000 network and uses a sealed resin-filled housing suitable for engine-room installation.

    Included / supplied components

    • LinkUp Pyrometer gateway
    • N03-320-264 pyrometer thermocouple
    • 6 m high-temperature extension cable
