It shares the same protection features and output rating as the round-hole version, just in a different physical shape suited to panel work.

If the mounting location is a plain round hole rather than a switch cutout, the socket-mount version (PN 1045) is the better fit instead, since a Contura-shaped charger won't seal properly in a simple round opening.
