    About this product

Blue Sea Systems ML Series Link Bus, tin-plated copper, 500A continuous, for paralleling ML-Series switches. Manufacturer PN 9160.

The Blue Sea Systems ML Series Link Bus is a simple tin-plated copper bar used to electrically connect, or "parallel," multiple ML-Series Remote Battery Switches, solenoids, and Automatic Charging Relays together — a common need when a large battery bank spans more current capacity than one switch alone is rated for.

    Key features

    • 500A continuous rating
    • Tin-plated copper for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance
    • Slotted 3/8in bolt holes simplify installation and alignment
    • Works with all ML-ACRs, ML-Solenoids, and ML-Remote Battery Switches

Rather than fabricating a custom copper bar or running a length of heavy cable between two adjacent switch terminals, this link bus drops straight in — the slotted stud holes make it forgiving of minor spacing differences between mounted switches, and it installs with the same hardware already used on the switch terminals themselves, without any additional fabrication or custom bending required.

Some installers also use it more generally as a rigid jumper wherever a short, high-current connection is needed between two adjacent terminals — for example, linking a battery switch directly to a nearby busbar or distributor — even outside its original ML-Series pairing use case, since it's simply a well-made tinned copper bar with the right stud spacing and current rating for that kind of job.

Because the bus is rated to 500A continuous, it matches the same amperage class as Blue Sea's ML-ACR and ML-RBS product families, so it won't become the weak link in a paralleled installation built around those switches without any downgrade in rated capacity.
