About this product
Veratron VMH 70 7 in Multifunction Touchscreen Display is a high-capability marine multifunction display built for engine monitoring, vessel systems and navigation data. Its 7 in sun-readable IPS touchscreen consolidates information that would otherwise require multiple gauges and converters, while the embedded gateway functions simplify mixed analog, J1939 and NMEA 2000 installations.
Key features
- 7 in sun-readable IPS touchscreen, 800 x 480 pixels
- NMEA 2000 certified interface plus two SAE J1939 engine channels
- Two EasyLink channels for compatible satellite gauges
- Analog sensor inputs including resistive, frequency, voltage and current-type signals
- Composite video capability for supported camera sources
- Embedded gateway can distribute supported analog/J1939 information onto NMEA 2000
- IPX7 protection with cables correctly connected
Integration and functionality
The VMH 70 is particularly useful in refits because it can combine NMEA 2000 data, direct SAE J1939 engine data and local analog sensors in one display. Supported information can be redistributed onto the NMEA 2000 network, allowing other compatible devices to see selected data.
Installation
The manual specifies an approximately 206 x 118 mm (8.11 x 4.65 in) panel opening, 220 x 128 mm (8.66 x 5.04 in) face and 65 mm (2.56 in) required depth. Allow additional clearance for harnesses and network connectors.
Electrical and environmental
Designed for 12/24 V boats with a 9–32 V operating range. Normal display consumption is up to approximately 900 mA before EasyLink satellite loads. Properly connected installation provides IPX7 protection.
