    About this product

Blue Sea Systems AMG Fuse Block with insulating cover, 32V DC max, 5/16in stud, 14-4 AWG wire. Manufacturer PN 5001.

The Blue Sea Systems AMG Fuse Block is the economical mount for the AMG fuse family (previously marketed as MEGA/AMG), covering the 100-300A range. Stainless steel studs and an insulating cover with UL 94-V0 base give it the same corrosion and heat resistance as Blue Sea's other fuse blocks, at a lower cost than a Class T or ANL setup.

    Key features

    • 32V DC maximum
    • 5/16" (M8) stud terminals accept ring terminals, 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG wire
    • Insulating cover satisfies ABYC/USCG requirements, with breakouts for wire access in three directions
    • Insert-molded studs for secure fuse mounting; UL 94-V0 base resists high heat

This block accepts Blue Sea's AMG fuses (PN 5101-5108, 100A through 300A). It's a good match for secondary or backup circuits in that amperage range where the AMG family's lower interrupt-capacity rating (2,500A) is adequate and the priority is cost.

Torque the terminal studs to 120 in-lb and the wire connections to 110 in-lb. This block is not ignition protected on its own — for a sealed, ignition-protected AMG installation, use the AMG Safety Fuse Block, PN 7721, instead.

This block is a good fit for secondary battery banks, backup circuits, or accessory feeds in the 100-300A range where the AMG family's lower cost outweighs the need for a higher interrupt rating. If the installation is exposed to spray or needs documented ignition protection, step up to the sealed AMG Safety Fuse Block, PN 7721, instead of this open cover-style block. Because AMG fuses share a common body size across the 100-300A range, this same block works for any rating in that span — just match the fuse amperage to your circuit's wire gauge and expected load.
