    About this product

Blue Sea Systems DualBus 100A BusBar, 5 screw terminals per bus, positive and negative isolated, 100A, 300V AC / 48V DC max. Manufacturer PN 2701.

The Blue Sea Systems DualBus 100A BusBar combines an isolated positive bus and negative bus on one compact block, so five branch circuits can each get both their fused feed and their ground return in a single footprint instead of two separate common busbars mounted side by side.

    Key features

    • 100A continuous rating, 300V AC / 48V DC maximum
    • 5 #8-32 screw terminals per bus (positive and negative isolated)
    • Tin-plated copper CDA 110 bus material
    • UL 94-V0 rated glass-reinforced thermoplastic base

This is a compact, economical option for a small accessory circuit bank — five branch circuits that each need a fused positive feed and a common negative return, consolidated in one low-profile block rather than running separate positive and negative bus bars. An optional cover (PN 2709) is available for installations that need insulated terminals to satisfy ABYC/USCG requirements.

Torque the screw terminals to 15 in-lb. Because the positive and negative buses sit right next to each other on this design, double-check polarity carefully when landing each wire — it's easy to cross a connection on a dual-bus block if you're not paying close attention to which side is which during a busy wiring session at the panel or console.

This block is a common choice for consolidating a small bank of accessory circuits — cabin lighting, small pumps, or instrument feeds — where running two full-size Common BusBars would take up more panel space than the installation has available for this size of circuit bank on the boat.
