    About this product

Blue Sea Systems Terminal Block, 20A continuous, 6 isolated circuits, 300V AC/DC maximum, length 2.91in. Manufacturer PN 2406.

The Blue Sea Systems Terminal Block gives 6 fully isolated circuits in one compact, closed-back strip rated to 20A continuous. Its closed-back design completely insulates the live terminals from the mounting surface, so it can be screwed directly to a metal panel or bulkhead without a separate insulating spacer.

    Key features

    • 6 circuits, 20A continuous rating, 300V AC/DC maximum
    • Each screw pair is one isolated circuit — no shared bus between positions
    • Nickel-plated brass bus with stainless steel M3.5 terminal screws
    • Mounts with #6 (M3.5) screws; overall length 2.91in
    • Jumpers (sold separately) bridge adjacent positions into common circuits

Because every position starts out electrically independent, this block is a common choice for grouping small, unrelated circuits at one termination point — instrument grounds, accessory feeds, or sensor wiring — without any circuit inadvertently sharing a connection with its neighbor. Add a Terminal Block Jumper (PN 9218) wherever two or more positions should share a common source instead.

Torque the terminal screws to 7 in-lb (0.79 Nm), and match wire terminals to the #6 (M3) wire terminal size for a secure, low-resistance connection. This block carries no built-in overcurrent protection — pair it with an upstream fuse or breaker sized to the 20A rating if the circuit needs protection at this junction.

The closed-back design is worth calling out specifically: unlike an open terminal strip, this block doesn't require a separate mounting standoff or insulating pad to keep its live terminals away from a metal panel, which simplifies installation and reduces the parts list for a given circuit-consolidation job.
