About this product
Blue Sea Systems M2 AC Multimeter, measures 2 voltages/2 currents, 50-250V, up to 300A, includes 150A CT. Manufacturer PN 1838.
The Blue Sea Systems M2 AC Multimeter monitors AC amperage, voltage, and frequency on a large, bright OLED display, measuring two independent voltages and two current circuits — or both legs of a single 120/240V split-phase circuit — from one compact unit.
Key features
- Measures current, frequency, power, and voltage; function range 50-250V, up to 300A total
- Includes one 150A AC current transformer
- Auto-dimming, bright OLED display, easy to adjust
- 92dB alarm for high/low current, frequency, and voltage
- Isolated MOSFET relay for external circuit control
- IP66 rated, protected against powerful water jets
Because it reads both legs of a 120/240V split-phase system, this meter suits boats with larger shore power connections or generators supplying both 120V and 240V loads, giving a complete picture of the AC system from one display rather than needing separate meters for each leg.
The isolated MOSFET relay adds real functionality beyond monitoring — it can automatically trigger an external circuit based on any measured value, such as switching an alarm or a load-shed relay if AC current climbs too high. Surface mount, flat panel mount, or 360 Panel mount options (using PN 1525, sold separately) give flexibility for different installation styles. A matching M2 DC Multimeter (PN 1830) is available for monitoring the boat's DC side from a companion display.
Because the display and controls are shared across the entire M2 family, anyone already familiar with a Blue Sea M2 DC meter will find this AC version's menus and adjustment process immediately recognizable, shortening the learning curve during setup.
