About this product
Victron Argodiode 80-2SC Isolator 2 Batteries 80 A lets one alternator charge separate battery banks without directly connecting the banks together.
Schottky diodes keep a discharged bank from draining another bank. This is useful when a boat or RV needs to charge its starter and service batteries from a common charging source.
Key features
- Separate charging outputs for the battery banks identified in the model name
- Schottky diode isolation with a voltage drop that must be allowed for in the charging system
- AC versions include an alternator energize input; SC versions do not
Follow Victron's wiring and voltage-compensation instructions, and size the isolator and cables for the alternator output.
