About this product
Veratron VMH 35-D GPS Diesel Multifunction Display is a compact digital instrument designed to consolidate diesel-engine and vessel data in a conventional round-gauge footprint.
Key features
- Compact diesel-engine multifunction display with configurable 3,000/4,000 rpm scale
- SAE J1939 engine interface with diagnostic/alarm support
- NMEA 2000 interface and embedded gateway
- Two resistive and two frequency inputs
- Integrated GNSS receiver for speed, position and heading
- EasyLink output for up to 16 VMH 14 satellite gauges
- More than 30 supported engine, tank, battery and vessel data types
- IPX7 protection
Integration and functionality
The VMH 35-D is built around diesel-engine data. It can display SAE J1939 information and alarms while also accepting selected local analog sensors. Supported data can be made available on NMEA 2000, and EasyLink provides expansion to VMH 14 satellite instruments. The display supports engine selection and configurable alarm handling for a compact multi-data helm.
Installation
The shared VMH 35-D installation manual specifies an 86 mm (3.39 in) panel opening, 100 mm (3.94 in) outer diameter, 65 mm (2.56 in) depth and 2–15 mm panel thickness.
Electrical and environmental
The platform operates from 9–32 V for 12/24 V systems, with consumption below approximately 170 mA at 12 V. The instrument is rated IPX7.
Compatibility notes
Current Veratron public pages identify the GPS and standard VMH 35-D variants by base article numbers B001711 and B001712; the catalog SKU retains the longer manufacturer number supplied in the Common Ground source file.
