    About this product

Veratron VL Digital 52 Multifunction Gauge - Round Black is Veratron’s next-generation configurable round instrument, combining a traditional gauge footprint with a modern digital display and flexible CAN/analog input architecture. Instead of buying a different fixed gauge for each parameter, the same hardware can be configured for supported engine, electrical, pressure, temperature and level data.

    Key features

    • High-performance digital round gauge with color segmented IBN display
    • SAE J1939 CAN input for electronic engine data
    • Resistive analog input for supported local sensors
    • Configurable warning/alarm levels and 500 mA alarm output
    • Laser pushbutton for data scrolling
    • Contactless smartphone configuration through AirWave/NFC
    • 8-pin MQS connector compatible with ViewLine-style harness architecture

    Integration and functionality

Data can come from SAE J1939 or supported local analog inputs, depending on the selected gauge function. The smartphone configurator sets displayed data, scale, engine/sensor instance and warning/alarm behavior. Contactless transfer allows the instrument to be configured without a conventional programming cable.

    Installation

Standard spinlock installation uses a 53 mm (2.09 in) hole and 65 mm (2.56 in) depth. Optional flush mounting uses a 48.1 mm opening. Standard panel thickness can be approximately 0.5–20 mm.

    Electrical and environmental

12/24 V nominal, 8–32 V operating range and less than 25 mA at 12 V with maximum illumination. The manual lists IP57 front/IP52 rear protection and -20 to +60 °C operating temperature.
