Hubbell lists IP56 moisture/ingress suitability for the published application.
Hubbell’s shore-power cable-set instructions specify connecting at the boat first and the shore source last; when disconnecting, remove the shore connection first. Keep contacts clean, inspect for heat/pitting or discoloration, and rinse/dry components exposed to salt water before reuse.
