Shore Power

Stainless inlets, marine-grade cordsets, ELCI breakers, and adapters in 30A and 50A.

This collection is a selected range. For the wider selection, browse all Shore Power parts.

Everything you need from the shore pedestal to the boat's main panel — stainless inlets, locking cordsets in standard and twist-lock styles, ELCI main breakers, smart-Y adapters, and pigtails. All hardware is corrosion-resistant and rated for wet locations.

30A vs. 50A — which shore service do you need?

If you can run your AC, water heater, and battery charger at the same time without tripping the breaker, 30A is fine. If anything bigger than a single AC unit is on the load list, plan on 50A — and an ELCI main breaker either way.

ABYC-compliant from inlet to main breaker

Every shore power kit we ship lines up to ABYC E-11. We pair inlets with the matching ELCI breaker, supply hardware in stainless throughout, and document the recommended wire gauge for the inlet-to-panel run.

    • ELCI breaker recommended on every install
    • Stainless and corrosion-resistant hardware
    • Wire gauge worksheet included with every kit

    Frequently asked questions

Do I need an ELCI breaker?

Yes — ABYC E-11 calls for an ELCI main breaker on every shore-powered AC system. We always include the matching ELCI in our shore power kits.

How long should my cordset be?

Plan for the longest dock you'll regularly tie up at, plus 10 feet of slack. Most cruisers carry a 25 ft and a 50 ft to cover both.

Can I split a 50A pedestal into two 30A circuits?

Yes, with a smart-Y adapter rated for the load. We stock locking smart-Y units that share the 50A pedestal between two 30A boats.
