COMMON GROUND has been in business for over 20 years in the marine electrical and industrial industries. We have worked closely with our customers to go from concept to completion on their projects. Our production and fabrication techniques rely heavily on CAD Drawings sent to our CNC Machine and Laser Machine and/or UV Printer to quickly respond to our customer’s needs. Our engineering/design staff are ABYC certified electrical technicians. Customers have demonstrated their loyalty for the products we build by continuously contacting us with custom/unique projects.
- Custom Designed Panels & Specialty Products: Production panel manufacturers rarely go the lengths to build a completely custom design, most won’t even consider it. Common Ground has the engineering staff and tooling in-house that offers a unique ability to make most ideas become a reality. Each project is carefully designed, fabricated, assembled and tested. And, we do it in a timely fashion.
- Breaker Panels: We build production and custom circuit breaker panels for marine AC and DC applications. Constructed of tough G10 epoxy glass, fiberoptic backlighting, digital instrumentation and replaceable reverse engraved label inserts are among our specialties. We treat each new project as a unique design, tailor-made for the end user, whether it’s one or one hundred pieces. We follow ABYC and/or UL489 USCG guidelines.
- Stock Panels: We also keep in-stock panels for toggle and rocker switches, circuit breaker panels and instrument panels for customers who need something immediately.
- Electronic Engine Controls: A wide variety of products are produced at Common Ground to facilitate the installation of marine & industrial electronic engines such as Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, Cummins and others. We provide complete plug & play systems from single engine single station to multi-engine multi-stations which are built to customer specifications with a simple order form. We manufacture remote station switch panels, wiring harnesses, throttle position brackets and instrumentation control stations with plug-in feature for digital or analog gauges. We manufacture production/custom engine interface enclosures provide a quick connection to power, engines and stations. Again, all of our products are fully tested.
